Employee engagement more important than job satisfaction
This interesting article highlights recent research by two leading business psychologists which claims that your employees must be fully engaged with clear development opportunities to help ensure they stay with your business. It suggests that this is now the number one factor in employee satisfaction and that it is critical for the employer 'to ensure their staff fit the jobs they are in to stand a better chance of their best talent staying with them for longer.'
